Giving at City Light

The New Testament teaches us to give generously, regularly and joyfully. We believe there are three main areas that the Bible calls christians to give intentionally to:

1) The Local Church.
2) Global mission.
3) The alleviation of poverty and injustice.

We encourage all of our members to be generous in each of these three areas.

The point is this: whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows bountifully will also reap bountifully.  Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.

— 2 Corinthians 9:6-7

GIVING OPPORTUNITIES

Regular Giving

The most helpful way to give is to set up recurring giving either weekly or monthly.
Follow the link below to set up giving using your credit or debit card.

General Giving

General giving supports the work we do to reach people with the gospel and to then grow them as God’s people here in Sydney.

This includes staffing, building costs, equipment and resources.

CHURCH PARTNERS

As well as giving to the local church, we encourage all our members to prayerfully consider the call to be generous to support the advancement of the Gospel overseas through the support of missionaries, as well as to organisations and initiatives that alleviate poverty and injustice. Below are a few of the Missionaries and organisations that we support.
